Alifood signs a trade agreement with Qatari Group NBN Trading WLL
26/05/2016During the last visits to Doha and Dubai, Alifood’s Managing Director, Vittorio Doria Lamba, has signed an important Market Representative Agreement with the prestigious Qatari Group NBN Trading WLL, belonging to the family of H.E. Sheikh Nawaf Nasser Bin Kaled Al-Thani, joint with the British Corporation FMA Ltd. This Group will represent Alifood and will promote its Italian food products in all the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries.
Such agreement has already brought out a promising business cooperation and the conclusion of a first contract with one of the leading Qatari retail chains, MegaMart. Furthermore, through the NBN intervention, a first contact has been taken recently also in Dubai with Choitrams & Sons, one of the biggest supermarkets Groups in the Middle East. Choitrams, established in 1944, is part of an international network, which has operation in 25 different countries and has today a large number of Supermarkets throughout the Gulf.
Alifood is looking forward, through the introduction and the guide of NBN Trading WLL, to building a long-term business relationship, which it will propose a very high quality and a broader choice Italian food items to all the GCC consumers.
Alifood’s aim is to create in that important geographical area, and with the participation of strong partners, a leading network specialized in the imports and in the distribution to local retailers, caterers and industries, of the products and the flavours typical of the” Italian way of eating”.
